About Billionaire Army
Billionaire Army is a free, open-source civic accountability platform. The public defines what matters most — SMART goals — and America's billionaires are scored on what they actually do about it, with receipts. It is a Skylark Creations project.
What we believe
Service is the price of the palace. Concentrated wealth carries a public obligation, and the public deserves a clear, sourced view of who is meeting it. We separate facts (sourced and moderated) from commentary (opinion) everywhere on the site.
How it works
- Every factual claim is source-linked, with the date it was retrieved. Estimates are labeled as estimates.
- The Public Benefit Score (PBS) measures how much of a person's wealth they actually give — annual giving relative to net worth, plus transparency. The formula is open, versioned, and documented; you can read the methodology and the per-person breakdown on each profile.
- We never publish private addresses, family details, or personal security information.
How it's funded
Donation-funded only, with a hard cap of $100 per person per year. No ads. No premium tier. No selling data. The code is open source — you can inspect exactly how every number is produced.
